Healthier Options for Your Meal
Switch all the food and ingredients for your everyday meals to healthier right away is almost impossible, and actually, it doesn't necessary. The reason for it is, of course, you have meals days to days and you get used to some certain types of food, switch directly to healthier options which usually not as tasty and enjoyable might reduce your encouragement to keep eating healthier food/ingredients.
Ideally, the best way is to change your choices gradually, start with changing in one food group then choose healthier options from another food group when you feel comfortable with the changes.
Following are the healthier options categorised by 5 main food groups: protein, grain, vegetables, dairy and fats and the list of options ends with healthier cooking methods.
